A new class session begins Tuesday, March 21st and Thrusday, March 23rd. Beginner Level 1 classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8pm. Beginner Level 2 classes are held every Thursday from 8-9pm. All classes are held in the dance studio at the Newport Parks and Rec Center in Newport, Oregon. Date: Tuesday, March 14th and Thursday, March 16th

Time: 7:30-9pm

Location: Newport Parks and Rec; Newport, Oregon

Bring a veil and learn how to do different veil wraps for show entrances, spins, camels, harem poses and barrel turns with a veil! Veils should be 3 yards by 45-55 inches wide. Extra veils will be on hand so you can see and feel the different types of veils that are commonly used in bellydance. There is no prerequisite for this workshop so if you know someone who is interested in learning bellydance, this is a nice chance to do so. Bring a friend…its more fun that way!

In this workshop you’ll learn the basics of how to purchase and apply make-up for different types of venues that bellydancers often perform in. Learn tricks of the trade ranging from exotic smokey eyes to smudge proof and sweat proof lipstick! Registration is still open! There is no prerequisite for this workshop. Bring a friend and learn how to expertly create exotic almond shaped Egyptian eyes!
