Level 1B: Beyond Basics

The holiday season has begun and I know everyone’s schedules are hectic but I want you to stay fresh with your bellydance selves that I’ve decided to offer a sort of mini session during this time. Level 1B: Beyond Basics is geared towards practicing what you’ve learned in Beginner Level 1 while incorporating a few new moves. Beginner Level 2’s are welcome to take this as well to keep yourself fresh and practiced. Classes are drop-in only ($8) and will be from 7-8pm on the following dates:

  • November 28th
  • December 12th
  • December 19th

Make up class for Intermediates

Since the last class of the session falls on Turkey Day I’ve decided to have the make up class on Tuesday, November 28th from 8-9pm. For Intermediates who have paid for the session, there is no fee. For those who do drop-in, the standard drop-in fee is required.

Make-up Tricks and Technique for Bellydancers

Wednesday, Dec 13th • 7-9pm • *Open to everyone • $15/workshop • Min 5 / Max 10

~Bring (if you have) foundation, powder with brush, liquid or pencil eyeliner, fave eyeshadow in 3 tones, blush with brush, lip liner and lipstick, mascara, eyeshadow or pencil slightly darker than eyebrow color, eyelash glue, eyeshadow brushes, body glitter

Drum Solo: Theory and Choreography

Sunday, Dec 17th 6-8pm • *Open to Level 2 and Intermediates • $15/workshop • Min 5 / No Max

*If workshop Minimums are not met, workshops will be cancelled

Student Hafla This Weekend!

All students are invited to share their evening with each other in dance. Bring a pillow, a dish or non alcoholic beverage to share and your dancing spirit! Henna will be available by our incredible artist Baraka Body Art for a fee and vendors will be there as well. Don’t miss this fun event. Students can bring family, friends and loved ones and get them into the shimmy spirit! Hafla will be held at the South Beach Community Center at 3024 Ferry Slip Road on Saturday, November 18th from 6-9pm.
